Putting Things Together

The purpose of this step is to create a STRING of data that we can use to practice the TEXT functions. The TEXT function that combines different Fields is called CONCATENATE.

 

4. Try it: Combine Data from Several Cells

The sample spreadsheet is still open.
Select Cell K1. Type the label: CONCATENATE.

Select Cell K2.
Go to Formulas ->Function Library->Text.

Click on : CONCATENATE.
The Function Arguments should open.
